Chip Seal
We lead the way in Chip Seal and other bituminous applications and pride ourselves in using top-of-the-line materials and equipment to deliver quality products. Let us help you plan ways to stretch your maintenance dollars.
Chip Seal
Extremely dependable and also one of the oldest methods of road construction, Chip Seal is the process of using a bituminous liquid (primarily MC-3000 or HFRS-2P) as a sealant over an existing surface and then applying aggregate over the liquid. Chip Seal is not only the cost-effective alternative to traditional asphalt, but it has many benefits, including extending the life of the road on average by five to seven years, reduces the need to seal cracks, and provides more skid resistance
Fog Seal
Considered to be a rejuvenation option as well as an additional barrier of protection, Fog Seal is more than a pretty surface treatment. It is the single application of emulsified asphalt onto an existing asphalt surface. Fog Seal improves the visibility of striping, can increase the longevity of the surface, reduces loose stone damage, and increases the rate at which snow and ice melt.
Base Seal
A cost-effective option for strengthening the structure of your roadway. Larger aggregates, such as #67 or #57, are used along with a heavier application of bituminous liquid. It may be used as a wear surface or topped with a single Chip Seal using smaller aggregates for ultimate performance and durability.
Strip Seal
When budgets are tight and complete repair is unfeasible, Strip Sealing is becoming increasingly popular. Strip Seal is a process using Chip Seal but focuses on specific areas that are deteriorating at a faster rate than the majority of the roadway. By focusing on specific areas of high wear or distress, maintenance dollars can be stretched over more miles of pavement.
Skin Patch
Like Strip Patching, Skin Patching is an economical option for repairing minor defects or slight deterioration of asphalt. Skin Patching is where liquid asphalt is applied with a hand hose followed by the application of aggregate. It effectively treats low areas/depressions, minor rutting, delamination, and the slight deterioration of asphalt.
Crack Seal
Water and non-compressible substances such as sand, dirt, rocks, or weeds can be the biggest threats to pavement surfaces with untreated cracks. If left untreated, cracked pavement can lead to serious problems, even sub-base failure. Crack Seal fills these cracks with an adhesive to prevent water and non-compressible substances from getting into the cracks and causing serious issues.

Chip Seal Projects
Why chose chip seal?
Cost Effective
Chip Seal is about one-third to one-half the cost of conventional asphalt overlay
Low Maintenance
Chip Seal requires little to no maintenance. It provides an excellent barrier for the underlying surface from the effects of the sun and water.
Highly Customizable
Chip Seal can be put over almost any surface, including gravel concrete and asphalt
Safe Alternative
Chip Seal provides more skid resistance and virtually eliminates black ice
